Agriculture: Three Cultivation Systems

Project 1

As the world shifts toward locally sourced food, Nigeria urgently needs sustainable farming solutions to combat climate challenges. We are introducing hydroponic systems, expanding greenhouse farming, and improving traditional practices to meet this demand. Our mission is to supply fresh, local food for our community and retreat guests in an effort to  fostering resilience and sustainability.

Agricultural Plan

Year-round food production is key to building self-sustaining, eco-friendly communities. Container-based hydroponic farming, paired with climate-controlled greenhouses and organic methods, enriches local food supplies with diverse, fresh produce. Guests enjoy familiar favorites and discover new options, while locals benefit equally. Our vision extends to scaling this model, acquiring more land, and empowering others through training and job creation. As climate change intensifies, hydroponic farming offers a practical solution to ensure food security across Nigeria and Africa.

Recycle Plan

A self-sustaining community starts with a recycling facility that generates jobs, safeguards the environment, and conserves resources. By reducing waste, we enhance the land’s beauty while addressing global resource challenges. Recycling infrastructure is scarce in Nigeria, but ADF plans to change that in Lagos with modern bins, trucks, and sorting systems—transforming waste into valuable, marketable products.

Project 1

Recycling and composting are vital for protecting our planet, yet Africa, particularly Nigeria, lacks robust recycling infrastructure. ADF aims to bridge this gap with a cutting-edge facility to process plastics, paper, and e-waste, transforming waste into reusable products. For instance, plastic bottles will be recycled into threads for clothing, bags, and more—pioneering sustainability and innovation.
